Pop Up Display Stands - An Insiders Guide To Avoiding The Shortcuts, Perils and Pitfalls

Everyday worldwide thousands of portable display stands, such as pop up stands and banner stands are bought by uneducated buyers. With an ever increasing number of exhibition and display companies competing for trade on the internet, it's easy to see why these novice shoppers are sucked into a purchase that they believe to be an unbelievable bargain; only to find out in a few short days, weeks or months that they have bought shoddy goods - and to make it worse there is little or nothing they can do about it.
If you're exhibiting at a trade-show or attending an event then it's almost certain that you'll be getting at least a few large display items printed (such as pop up display stands, banner stands etc) with your marketing messages, company logo's, products and services, however if there was ever an area where unscrupulous suppliers cut corners on the internet then this would be it.
In a recent survey conducted by us, we found that an incredible 78% of people bought a pop up stand with absolutely no knowledge whatsoever about the product they where buying!
Rogue traders know this and are using a huge arsenal of shortcuts to ensure that they get their hands on your hard earned cash.
Here are just four of those tricks for you to look out for when preparing yourself for a purchase:
Far East Printing
This is a great trick, which a few suppliers adopt to advertise almost unbelievable prices for items such as pop-up stands and banner stands. The supplier gives the impression that they are doing all the work themselves but instead pass the entire job to an associate in the Far East. In principle this isn't a problem but remember that whilst the price looks good, the artwork is unlikely to be checked by a natural speaking English speaker, the delivery times are huge (approx 30 days!) and don't even think about what would happen if there was the need for a reprint. Take this route at your peril.
Always ask where your stand will be printed.
Most people buy their pop up stand with no idea of the quality of print that will be used on their stand. Whilst most suppliers these days have good quality printing machines installed, it is worth mentioning that not all will print your graphics at the correct quality setting - this is more about them speeding the print up to get a greater throughput of work than anything else. Quick tip -- If in doubt request a sample of their print to be sent to you.
This is the most widely used trick. It's incredibly simple and amazingly common. The supplier produces the graphics for your pop up display stand on a lesser grade material or thickness in order to keep the prices down and the reprints high! .

Choosing The Right Size Outdoor Table Cover For Your Needs

When buying an outdoor table cover you need to pick one that matches the size and shape of the table. Don't be tempted to buy one that is too big or too small as it will not provide the protection you need. Some people will buy an extra large cover hoping it will protect the chairs as well but often what happens is that huge pools of water accumulate in the center of the table.
This can be a nightmare to deal with often leaving the homeowner completely soaked as they try to work out how to drain this puddle. It is much easier to buy separate individual chair covers especially as they are so inexpensive.
When you measure the table, always measure the height and depth as well as the circumference to get the perfect size. If you have a standard shape you should be able to buy an outdoor table cover at most well known shops catering for household goods. If you bought an unusual piece or had one custom made you may have to buy custom made protective covers as well.
It would be best to ask the people who supplied your patio furniture for some advice on how best to proceed. Don't worry too much about the cost as it will be a fraction of what you spent on the original furniture pieces. It is a worthwhile investment as it will keep your garden furniture in great condition preserving a resale value when you come to trade up.
If you have yet to buy your patio furniture you may to negotiate the inclusion of an outdoor table cover in the package. In these economic times you will often be surprised by the lengths companies will go in order to secure your business. It doesn't hurt to ask and you may just find that they say yes!.

Purchasing Guide to Pop Up Gazebos

If you are reading this, I think we can take it for granted that you have an interest in pop up gazebos and that you are probably thinking about investing in one.
In recent years there has been an explosion in companies offering pop up gazebos. I speak to a broad spectrum of people who come to us looking to purchase a pop up gazebo. They generally all have one thing in common - confusion. This is an unfortunate side effect of the way our competitors and ourselves push our products. We approach the strategy of product description from a technical perspective and with so many different specifications on the market, how can the buyer truly know what product is going to fulfill their needs?.
That final choice may see you choosing not to buy from us, but this guide is crammed with the reality behind the technical jargon and I will use my years of manufacturing and retail experience to help you along the purchasing path.
The structure consists of a one piece framework that is manufactured from a concertina of metal in the roof, held together with either metal or plastic joints and ending in 4 or more telescopic legs depending on the size - more about this later. In essence though, the framework should not require the user to assemble any parts and does not require any tools to use.
We have many enquiries from people who want to know if the application they have in mind for their canopy is achievable. From theatre productions, furniture storage, first aid tents, ski huts and a cover for the garden BBQ, you are only limited by space, budget and imagination!.
You have decided that you are interested in obtaining a pop up gazebo. It might be for the garden, it might be for a business venture. You will approach the purchase with an idea in mind and then you will start to search the internet for appropriate companies from whom to purchase.
The majority of pop up gazebos are purchased over the internet through mail order. Unless the customer has come from a referral or they have seen the pop up gazebo in use, it is very likely that the majority of prospective buyers will never have seen the gazebo until it is delivered to their door.
As you surf through the various definitions of pop up gazebos and the various companies that supply them, you will rapidly discover that one picture of a pop up gazebo looks very much like another. This makes it very easy for the customer to fall foul of some companies, who like to trade on the customers' confusion.
In an attempt to differentiate between the pop up gazebos, you then research the individual specifications. You will then be overwhelmed by facts and figures. From the size and type of metal used in the framework, the manufacturing process of joints, the way the structure is fitted together - including the size of nuts and bolts, the Denier or weight of the cloth used in the roof and sides, the various certificates applicable to that material and that is before you even consider size, colour and whether or not printing would be an option.
